Behind the scenes
Mayuko, the founder of this tour, started her Japanese cooking classes in 2015 to introduce Japanese charm through local Japanese food. Since then, more than 4,000 guests from over 30 countries have visited her to learn Japanese cooking at her home. Over 99% of her Tripadvisor reviews are 5-star “Excellent”.
During the classes, countless guests have asked her favorite restaurants as a local’s recommendation. She easily gave the names of the places, but always struggled with not being able to explain what unique dishes they served and what to order for deep food experiences. Hence was born Mayuko’s Little Night Tour hosted by a local, which will help you to try new and traditional offerings to enhance your food experience while in Tokyo.
