A Year in Food Tours, Laughter, and Very Honest Tips

Food tour team recently got together for our end of year team dinner, and after realizing we forgot to photograph almost all the food except one, the night naturally turned into something better: stories.

We talked about this year’s Mayuko’s Little Night Tours, the moments that surprised us, and the guests we still remember for all the right reasons. The ones who were brave enough to try something mysterious. The ones who asked funny questions. And yes, the ones who said “I don’t usually eat this, but…” and then finished the whole plate.

We also shared small but important tips with each other. Very professional insights, mixed with a lot of laughing.

What struck me most was how much everyone genuinely cares. Not just about food, but about sharing it well. These are not guides who simply speak English. They are locals with deep knowledge and experiences, positive attitude, and real passion for what they do. That energy shows up every day on our Tokyo food tour.

Looking back, it felt like a very good year. Messy, funny, delicious, and full of learning. Exactly how food should be.
