Countryside Class
A special class in a traditional Japanese house built 70 years ago in Choshi, Chiba Prefecture.
Currently we are renovating the old kitchen. When we resume, we will notify you here (estimating late 2024).
Besides the classes in Tokyo, I occasionally offer classes in the countryside: Choshi is located on a peninsula stretching into the Pacific Ocean in the far northeast corner of Chiba Prefecture. Guests can take the express train at 7:37am at Tokyo Station and arrive in Choshi at 9:34am, where I will pick them up.
The small town is famous for great seafood, soy sauce factories and its dramatic coastline. Choshi is the easternmost corner of the Kanto region.
The class takes place in my grandparents' traditional Japanese wooden house, which was built just after WWII. You can come to Choshi as a day trip from Tokyo or stay for a few days.
