Journey through Japan with hand-crafted monthly and seasonal Care Packages filled with premium-quality, pure and delicious Japanese foods delivered straight from Japan to your door. We got March Care Package from Kokoro Care Packages. There was no second till we opened the package with excitement after we got it from the delivery service. We were thrilled to open the package and were very happy to see the carefully selected seasonal items in the white box. Here are the items in the package with English instruction. "Liquid organic ume (plum) paste" Ume is one of the iconic flavors of Japan. This paste is used as a salad dressing or marinade for meat/ vegetables. It has a wonderful salty, tart taste and is a great substitute for salt or soy sauce. ”Indigo blue tea" This is very interesting to us. You will be amazed by the gorgeous vibrant blue color which comes from the added butterfly pea. And it is tasty (there is a photo at the end)! "Nori (seaweed) paste" This is the one which is commonly used as a condiment for plain rice. Mayuko, like other children in Japan, grew up with this. ”Organic girls' day rice snack" This is the traditional rice snack to celebrate Hinamatsuri (girls' day). Many Japanese have grown up with this snack. "DIY Hegi rice cake" Many guests in our kitchen ask about mochi (rice cake). This is the perfect kit that you can make your own mochi with microwave. The instruction is given as well. Wow. These are the authentic items that locals enjoy, which means that it would be hard to find if you were a tourist without instruction. So we highly recommend this package to enjoy a little Japan abroad (they have English instruction and ship overseas). Kokoro Care Packages; Inside every Care Package, you'll discover a variety Japanese foods and flavors that have been carefully selected for their premium-quality, purity and incredible taste. Now, we need to go since the indigo blue tea and the rice crackers are waiting for us!
